Yes yes yes, I'm a lazy bastard for not updating my plan for ages. Here are some random scribblings from a pretty fragmented working day.
We're moving out of the office where we have been since 2002 today and it feels pretty weird. The weirdest thing is I haven't even seen the new place. It's still in the cool part of town and I'm sure it's an amazing place but thinking that I have absolutely no idea what the place looks like is... weird.
I really like our current office (the one we're moving out of), but then I'm working on the floor where the AC is actually providing fresh air. On the upper floor where the developers work, the air can sometimes be pretty horrible. I think fresh air is good for developers.
We've had a lot of fun in this office. Apart from the every day grind, we've had some great parties here, like the eh... moving in party when [names removed to protect the not so innocent (marcus)] threw our pink mascot flamingos out of the window, or the Reason 3 release party with live PA from Andreas Tilliander. We've also used the office for the last Producers conference in Stockholm and just before that we used it to shoot the Record promo video. Yep, the scruffy guitar guy's bedroom is actually a dressed up corner of the office. And so is the rehearsal space.
The office is in a mess right now. Almost everything is packed in boxes and there's piles of rubbish everywhere. It's amazing what loads of crap you collect over the years. As I was going through my shelves and boxes I found beta tester application printouts from the ReCycle 1.7 beta testing (1999 called and want their betatesters back!). I also found printouts of the support pages made in 2001. Printouts. I must have hated trees back then or something.
It's easy to fall in love with stuff just because they *have* been useful at some stage. In the developer's library upstairs I found a heap of all these cool old mac programming handbooks that look great with their classic apple logos, but they're utterly useless now and will go to the trash can along with tons of outdated books, useless software and no longer needed computer junk. SCSI terminators anyone?
Ok - time to label my boxes and walk out of the door for the last time. Weird.

I think the text in the picture should say "This used to be a lot less clean and tidy" instead.
