REX Shared Library 1.7 - Universal Binary

For owners of Logic 9.1.2 and later

This update is required to be able to use REX files in the 64-bit version of Logic 9.1.2 or later.

Please note that the 64-bit version no longer supports Power PC.
After downloading, please run the "Install Rex library" installer. This replaces the REX Shared Library with the latest version.

Note: You currently don't need this update unless you are using the 64-bit version of Logic 9.1.2 or later.

Note: The 1.17 installer does not work under OS X 10.8.3. If you want to install REX Shared Library under 10.8.3 please follow these steps:

  1. Download and run the REX Shared Library 1.17
  2. Download the SetRexFolderPermissions.zip file
  3. Extract the zip
  4. Double-click the SetRexFolderPermissions.command file
  5. Terminal will open
  6. Enter your computer password and press return

What is REX?

The native ReCycle document files, REX2 files, can also be imported in a number of other programs. Space saving and efficient, they hold info about slice positions and other parameters.

This update is required to be able to use REX files created in ReCycle 2.1 with Reason 3.0 and other applications like Logic 7.2. After downloading, please mount the disk image and run the installer. This replaces the REX Shared Library with the latest version.

Note: You don't need this update if you are using Reason 3.0.5 or later.

This update is required to be able to use REX files created in ReCycle 2.1 with Reason 2.5 and other applications. After downloading, please unpack the zip file or sit file and run the installer. This replaces the REX Shared Library with the latest version.

Note: If you have installed ReCycle 2.1 on your computer, you already have the latest REX Shared Library - there is no need to update.
