In modern molecular biology, the genome is the entirety of an organism's hereditary information. It is encoded either in DNA or in case of this fine ReFill it's the AMIGA1200 encoded in Reason's NNXT samples. The AMIGA1200 with it's 8-bit Paula chip was extremely popular among producers all over the world in the early nineties. All told there are 189 scales on each root note, for a total of 2,268 scales. When broken up into modes that's 1254 on each note, or 15,048 scales. It's likely there are scales in this refill that no one's ever written songs in.

Creator of Eclectic Vibes is Zo, professional composer and musician. Besides being a composer of several film and theater music he is the founder and mastermind of the "Singas Project" nu-jazz band. One of their song "Voice" was published on the 13th edition of Cafe del Mar from their first LP "Merry go round", their album "Yolife" has been nominated to the best nu-jazz record of the country and their successful "This is Theater Honey" opened the door to several international jazz festivals. The progressive experimentation stamping the band fully infuses the nu-jazz sound of the Eclectic Vibes sample pack as well.

Blue Meanie is a new Thor-based ReFill inspired by that venerable analogue classic, the ARP 2600.

Designed for Reason 5, and making full use of the Combinator v3, each of nearly 500 patches includes all oscillators and module types found on the 2600: 3 analogue VCOs, Noise, Sample & Hold, spring reverb, a pseudo-voltage processor for oscillator-formed wave modulation, audio-in modulation and electronic switching. The sounding results however stayed amazingly close to the Source's character. In this refill's documentary folder you'll find proof of this. Oxide 128 captures the vibe of Electro House, Minimal House, IDM, EBM, and others styles of Electronica for the sake of building something new, but not too distant.
