How does it work?
Install Reason on as many computers as you like. Connect your Ignition Key to the USB port on a server or a computer on your network, and the clever multi user license system will allow students to use Reason on any computer on the network until the license limit is reached.
What do I need to use this?
One or more 5 or 10 User Packs of Reason Education. These contain licenses, Ignition Key, installation discs and documentation. If your school already has an older version of Reason Education, the Education upgrade packs gives you the latest versions of Reason, and the necessary equipment to use the Network License functionality. Reason's network licenses cannot be used with single user licenses.
Please note: It is not possible to use the multilicensing system (EDUx5, EDUx10) without a network. Multiple single license educational packs (EDUx1) should be used instead.
How do I set it up?
The computer where your Ignition Key is connected should work as a network server for the seat computers running Reason. For this, you need to enable the network server feature in the Codemeter software that is installed with Reason. For details on how to set this up, please see the Multi User Licenses Manual.
