We caught up with him at a sold out show at the legendary Fillmore club in San Francisco, California and talked to him about his music, his tools and workflow.
The popular Record U series is back where our guide Ernie Rideout takes a look at insert effects. Insert effects such as compressors, EQs, reverbs, delays are very effective tools to give each track its own sonic space and to make your mix sound better — it's these goals that we'll focus on in this article.
