Her style is eclectic, yet focused. Whether it's a rock track, a pop ballad, or a hip hop tinged beat it sounds decidedly like a Kirsten Price track.
We met up with Kirsten at a studio in Los Angeles to talk with her about her production work. Fresh off her recent album's release, Brixton to Brooklyn, Price was already at work on her next project. She walked us through the production, sound by sound, and shared her thoughts about the nature of musicians in general.

Kirsten Price's latest album, Brixton to Brooklyn, serves as a mini-bio in itself. Originally from London, Price moved to New York in 2001 and quickly made herself at home with the vibrant and varied music scene. Classically trained with just enough street moxy, Kirsten's music is both raw and orchestral feeling. Formerly signed to Sony Records in 2007, she now divides her time between producing her own projects on her label KPI and producing for other artists.
