Propellerheads Worldwide Events
Here at Propellerhead Software, we don't consider our work done just because we've released a product. Along with a select group of artists and musicians, we are constantly on the road to let people know about the power and possibilities of our products. On this page, we will report from Propellerhead events around the world, the latest one being:
Reason version 4 Workshops, Melbourne, Jan 2008
In the searing heat at the height of Australian summer, Propellerhead Product Specialist Simon Grey winged his way to Melbourne, in Victoria Australia, to guest present two Reason version 4 clinics.
The events attracted large turnouts for the native Melbournian public, who braved the 40 degree Celsius heat to attend the two clinics. The diverse and enthusiastic audiences consisted of sound designers, electronic musicians and producers, DJs, soundtrack composers and professional songwriters. There were even some guest who flew down from Sydney to attend one of the Clinics.
Simon took the audience on a free wheeling tour through the latest features in Reason version 4, including the mighty Thor Modular synthesizer, the RPG-8 Arpeggiator, the rebuilt sequencer and powerful new groove quantize mixer. The audiences at both clinics were active and involved, peppering Simon with questions across a variety of topics, ranging from synthesis techniques to creating Combinators.
Musiclink's own Jason Hearn and Scottish born Australian artist J2D2 (Jason Doonan - here seen with Simon Grey) were on hand to assist in the deeper technical side of the discussions.
To top it all off a lucky member of the audience from each clinic took home a free copy of Reason version 4 and some exclusive Propellerhead merchandise!
All in all the clinics were great fun, and we would like to say a big "Thank You!" to all involved for making them as successful as they were, and thank everybody who came along and participated!
