  • No Ignition Key with Reason 7?

    In Reason 7 and Reason Essentials 2 we’ve added a new way of authorizing the software. You can authorize your licenses to a single computer, for offline use. This way you can use Reason without being connected to the internet, or without a USB port taken up by the key. To authorize your computer for offline use, please login to Your Account.

    If you use Reason on several computers, you will still be able to add your license to an Ignition Key, or use Internet Verification. An Ignition Key is not included with the Reason 7 or Reason Essentials software, but for those that need one, it is available for separate purchase from our online shop. Read more…

    Yes, it can! You can authorize a license on both your Ignition Key and Balance. However, please note that you still can’t authorize a license on two Ignition Keys or two Balance units.

  • How do I register my product?

    To register a product, log in to Your Account, and select the appropriate product from the “REGISTER OR UPGRADE” box to the right. At this point, just pick the product you have, regardless of whether it’s a new registration or an upgrade to an existing license. This will take you to a new page where you’ll be able to enter the specifics of what it is that you’re registering; the version of the software, and whether it’s a new version or an upgrade.
