Realistic human whistle

Does anyone know of a realistic sounding human whistle in any refill? Perhaps a NN-19 or NN-XT sample. Trying to do a cover of The Good The Bad and The Ugly theme song and I need a whistle.

Hi,
I don't know of any refills, but do you have a DAW that will enable you to use VST plugins?
If yes, there is a good free plugin for a whistle (its called shepherd)

i don't think the good the bad and the ugly theme is a human whistle, sounds like some sort of wind instrument like an ocarina, maybe even a flute.

Yes, I'm reviving this old thread from 2008! I'm looking for a realistic human whistle ReFill, but can't find any... It seems this is something that has never been done, but it is also highly possible that I just didn't find it/them (even if I'm usually good at finding unusual ReFills).

So, is there anyone here who is aware of the existence of such a ReFill? At least something that ressembles that Kontakt library:

Thanks in advance!

Can you not whistle yourself? Its pretty easy and a fun past time

Maybe the Thor patch "Vintage Whistle", located in the "Lead Synths"-folder is realistic enough for a cover? You may want to slightly increase the portamento for the "good bad ugly-theme".

Best regards,
Sven

I could! I would need an audio interface and a microphone to properly record the result though... That's why, when I'm looking for a sound, my first reflex is to search a ReFill or a sound kit offering it! :)

I think it would be quite an interesting refill to make but I don't relish the thought of whistling monotonously for hours on end.
