Access Denied, Help

Hey,

I just got Reason 3 Adapted for Digidesign. I have a problem authorizing it, however.

Upon opening the program, I am prompted to type my Username, Organization(?) and License No. in.

I keep getting an "Access Denied" window that terminates the set-up by saying: "The operation could not be completed because the device denied access."

I have updated to Reason Adapted 3.0.5, and of course registered my product here (I have my license number and username). Any solutions?

Thanks!

I'm sure I saw a post very recently that pointed another user to the correct "help" page on this site that may well deal with this problem. Check out the Reason Adapted area or go through the recent threads to see if you can find it.

Grum.

Hey Grum,

Sorry, I couldn't find anything that worked.

I repaired the permissions in the Disk Utility, and now, having entered my user data, this happens immediately upon opening the setup:

"Failed to locate and install Reason Engine, exiting." It then terminates.

What is wrong!? I dragged the Properllerhead folder to the applications folder (It was inside a folder that said, "Drag the contents of this folder to your hard disk").

Edit: This is for my Mac OSX.

Ok, I finally fixed it!

I went to: HD/Library/Applications Support/Properllerhead Software/

Right-click ReWire folder, click "Get Info". I set all permissions to "Read & Write". Done!

Thanks for your help.
