Japanese

Hi thur.

Im trying to make a song that sounds and feels like an asian orientated piece. specifically Japanese sounding
however i have been searching high and low for japanese instrument VST's such as the Kokyu for about two weeks now with no luck.

Just wondering if any of you guys could help me out.

I AM WILLING TO PAY FOR A GOOD JAPANESE VST :)

I honestly appreciate any help with this
Cheers
Kyle

Things like that (Kokyu) are quite hard to come by.

But try this

http://www.eastwestsamples.com/details.php?cd_index=698

or free

http://www.freesound.org/

type in things like Chinese Fiddle, Japanese Violin etc.

You could probably engineer the sounds in Reason itself.

:)

If you are happy to load wav files in to NN-XT yourself, you could check out loopmaster Japan CD
http://www.loopmasters.com/product/details/227

I assume you have had a look at the New World collection on this site

Discovery Sound also have a Koto instrument made for the NNXT that I've thought of picking up myself a few times:

let me know how it is if you buy it.
