Maelstrom: custom graintables?

In Reason, is there a way to load a user's own audio file into the Maelstrom for use as a "graintable"? I don't find one myself, so I'm guessing not, but I'm asking just in case there's something I've missed.

(If not, perhaps I should suggest some form of user-editable granular synthesis for future versions of Reason in the Feature Suggestions forum...?)

didnt the props say a whole volume of encyclopedias could be written on the inner working of the malstrom? maybe it was just one encyclopedia? either way, malstrom is an extremely powerful and deep synth. but i too would love a v2 don't even think though that malstrom will be able to load user wavforms anytime soon! its far too complicated for that in even this time of technology. malstrom was way ahead of its time. even today, theres no real synth like the malstrom in the vst/au world. theres synths that try to emulate certain parts of granular synthesis, absynth/alchemy but malstrom is the real deal.

cool article on Malstrom from Sound on Sound:
http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/aug0...reasontech.htm

they mention Reaktor as a synth you can roll your own with...
