New 'progressive house' track

Hi all

I have finished a new track entirely made in Record called "seeking". I'd say the style is some kind of progressive house.

Any feedback is always appreciated.

PS: Credits to eXode whose excellent refill I used :)

Hey, I gave a listen and liked where this is going. There are a lot of nice things in there. I do feel as though there is more to be done - particularly in the drums. At some point in this tune, it would be nice to have the drums hit a slamming groove. Also consider switching the bass line pattern or even modulate. It will help to keep ones ears tuned in the composition. All told some nice work here and those eXode refills are great sounding!

P.S. - Thanks for the kind words about "Silent Night". I keep wanting to fuss with it but should learn to keep well enough alone.

hi makuster
nice work here, liked the big fat synth bass and i agree with kibeja about the bass line (modulation/pattern change) but please dont take that as a negative, i liked the "off keyness" feel, something which i think is missing in some prog house styles.
good stuff.
regards
danni

Hello Kibeja and Danni

Thanks for your very helpful hints, which I take as positive! I am glad to get some other view on the track, as even after hearing it dozens of times, I was too much into detail.
I will further work on it, as I'm not yet completely satisfied.

Marco
