Note Lane for Drums

Once I record my drums on one note lane, is there a way I can automatically separate each part to a new note lane?

Meaning instead of creating note lanes as I go along I want to record it and overdub until all drums are complete then separate the parts to different note lanes in one shot.

thanks for the help

Yes...

Go to the tool window F8 and Tools and the final item is Extract Notes to Lanes....

This is covered very briefly in one of the Record Micro Tutorials (possibly no 15? or around there)

Apparently only available in Record. Very handy though!

In Record, you could "select note of same pitch" + "move to new lane" for each instrument. Not automatic, but does the trick.

And "Explode" - Page 242 of the Record Op' Manual.

Pete, I just realized that you were referencing Explode (..the final item..). I think you may have meant "in" rather than "is".
