Pattern Track to Midi Note Lane

It would be nice if we could convert Pattern Tracks in the sequencer to Midi note lanes. For example if I have an arrangement done, with patterns for, verse, chorus, fills etc using Redrum. I can just convert those patterns to Midi note lanes and that way I can move notes here an there apply ReGroove to them etc. This would make arrange drum tracks easier I think.

Yeah I agree. It's a bit of a letdown that you really have to make a choice for either pattern changes or notes right at the beginning. You could work faster if you use pattern changes but then you get stuck in the end with edits. I usually export the notes from the redrum right on the tracks right away because of this.

Yes it would be a dream if they implemented this. Right I have to be moving L/R markers all over the place and then exporting the notes. It drives me crazy. The way I see it we would just use the patterns for arrangement and midi to lanes for finer editing.
