New Soulful House Tune - Please Go Listen!

Sup propellerheads!

Just released a new tune this evening and I would love for y'all to hear it. :)

Muskokan Dusk {durn}

It's a nice, soulful house tune that I started composing while I was on vacation at my cottage. The laid-back atmosphere up there definitely had an effect as I slowed it down and recorded at 123 bpm and really had fun lickin' away at them keys. :D

Please leave your thoughts! I'd like to know how y'all feel about it. :)

I can hear how much fun you had with this track! It's really good/perfect doesn't need anything else it osunds like you have a developed style

Ha … good stuff. Most enjoyable. It has a laid back vibe but drives as well, particularly around 2:12 or so. There is also this nice jam feel to it that I rather like. Soul lives….

A bit of soul, a bit of house, a bit of 90s Amiga gaming... This just puts me in a good mood.

Absolutely love the Rhodes. :)

Thanks whoopdee. Definitely did have a lot of fun with this one. Hardly quantized anything for once, just let my fingers do the walkin'!

Well I got soul, I'm superbad! ;) Aye, I really wanted to change the mood for the central theme, took a more modern approach. But I had to revert back to some sweet jam! :D

:) Good mood patrol has done it's job! Aye, I'm a big fan of that Rhodes patch, have used it a few times now. It's the Quincy J performance patch from the (free) ElectroMechanical 2 Refill.

Thanks all for the listens. :D Remember to vote 5 if ya like it!

Fun tune, funky instrumentation, great progression, and everything just works so well together. Reminds me of summer time.
