New Song 'Chamber Music' - Feedback Request :-)

Hi everybody,
I have a new song up at Soundcloud called 'Chamber Music'. It is a peaceful, spacey song and is the longest song I have made at 4 minutes!

Here it is:

Please take a listen and give me some feedback :-)

Thanks,
Tom.

I really, really like it. Not at all what I was expecting, but it's beautiful. Good work!

Hi, thanks for the nice comments. I have ironed out a couple of little things that were annoying me in the track...it is still available on the same link though :-)

Cheers,
Tom

Nice!! i like all types of music!! This reminds me of alot of Role Playing games I used to play!! This kind of music gives me memeories that don't have!! Nice guitar work by the way!!

Great work!! I personally dont think you needed all the neptune work on the voice, would sound nice without it and a bit more natural.

Great guitar sound, how did you get it, could you give me some pointers?
Thanks,
Paul

Hi, I am actually using 'The Mouth', which is a native instruments plug-in...but I take your point about the auto-tune effect :-).

Regarding guitar sound, I recorded my acoustic through an Rode NT1-A microphone into Record, then added the 8 band compressor which is one of the mastering presets. Then I exported the WAV into Renoise and used a nice reverb from the Native Instruments Guitar Rig 4 plug-in. Incidentally, I just bought Komplete 7 elements and have started rewiring Reason/Record. I bought Renoise 2.7 and it is totally brilliant not to mention cheap! The Renoise/Reason/Record combo is unbeatable!

Cheers,
Tom.
