First Reason RE tune

I have finished my first tune with the fresh Reason 6.5 Rack Extension. I only use the Saturation Knob from Softube from the RE but I already like the new reason. Only the percussions use samples, everything else are made from synthesizer and effects. I don't know what kind of musical genre it is, there's a nice IMHO funky bass and the arrangement is fairly minimal. Hope you like it, feel free to comment.

Hi Geolm man.. that bass line I'm feeling! Funky Disco groove w/ Min. & Chill house elements. Nice way to get a start on 6.5! Keep groovin!

very very beautiful :) very balanced and clean sounding. soft tune with waving elements, the bass grooving around deep and mellow, overdriven synth telling stories of forgotten desires becoming fulfilled *** favourite one I heard here so far

Here's the thing.....your arrangement and chordstructure is absolutely rocksolid, it has French house written all over it BUT it's missing those raw overdrive sounds and nice tight hitting drums that really define that French sound. If you change your sounds you can get this track in the playlist of the likes of Daftpunk and Justice. You should really take a listen to some french house to draw inspiration and start making that kind of music. Who knows what that might lead to?

Its a Great Track for sure GEO ' & on a personal note ' some of the more Sine'ish sound's you have in the mix ' slightly blight the lower mid section, i would perhaps take that crystal clear addvice from GrottoMan, i think it sort of hits the nail on the head' so 2 speak,

Wow, I agree with grotto, amazing daft punk/justice vibes. I would work on it some more, change the drum sounds. Add lots of dirty compression. I think this tune has great potential.

thank you for all your comments, I really appreciate :) I usually don't listen to so-called French house, it's funny that you find this song being this kind of music, but it's ok. I have a question about the drums sound, I'd like to know what do you want to change, is the kick to thin? too much reverb on the snare? do you have any example of "better" drum sound. I ask this because it seems that everyone agrees on the fact that the percussion sounds are a bit weak.

Thanks again
