Native Instruments MASSIVE Rack Extension

I would LOVE to see this as a rack extension. Massive has the ability to create tones that are just not possible to create in reason currently. I cant wait for the REAL new synths to start popping up as rack extensions. The polysix is ok, It doesnt really bring any new sounds to the reason environment that you cant already do with subtractor or thor though. I checked out the sound samples on the predator site and they sound pretty run of the mill too. Massive or something similar would bring tones to reason not currently possible. Hoping for that

I too would like to see it, but this is the wrong place to ask. You should go to the Massive feature suggestion forum on NI's website. I would certainly put a +1 next to it. ;)

I've just started a thread about it over on the NI website, if you want to add your +1 then go here....

I don't believe that.

Of course it can. It's based on wavetables, which are individual. Unless Reason has the same wavetables it won't be able to create the same sounds.

Unless you sample them? ;-)

Yeah Reason needs this soooo bad, the Poly6/Re Tron are ok but just more of the same in my opinion.

Having Massive as a Re would (A) stop me from rewiring and (B) allow me to run audio through the performer :)

Reason needs an instrument that is Drum N Bass/Dubstep friendly!!

Something unholy that sounds like it was dragged through the gates of hell screaming would do nicely!!

I admit that it was not that friendly to program and it's certainly doesn't sound friendly. :)

No i mean, something that is really easy to program, Massive is by far the easiest synth to program if u want some mind bending filth to add to your latest production without having to know everything about sound design, i spend hours designing sounds these days but honestly, id rather spend my time making music lol :)

Another thing i wanted to say is that as u all know, Drum n Bass runs at a fast tempo, usually about 160bpm to 190bpm and i find that the reason instruments/effects start to fail at these higher tempo's.

When i use Massive, the Performer/LFO work really well and the "restart LFO" function is a life saver!!
