Well, one of my encoders (volume) has gone a bit dodgy on my controller. I was going to send it to NI to get repaired and serviced for €79+P&P. Now i'm going to wait and see if there is any crossgrade or hardware only prices on the new controller.

I'm very eager to see if there is tighter Traktor integration with the new controller, especially with the new remix decks...

You guy's who missed it aren't missing much. Guitar Center leaked it but NI is looking at customization with the MK2. The demo does look a bit like touch the rainbow. I saw it on FB last night.

yhea it look like some skittles being playing Lego in Tron ! lol
I should have got this controlleur insted of the mpc 500 that I got last month because the mpc 500 is limited in use and complex to learn with it's small screen :

The new Maschine is just as big. It looks the same, same size, but the lights come out in different colours and the hardware has been allegedly improved in many respects. If I hadn't just bought MKI I'd shell out for MKII easily. Well, provided I had the money, that is.

I think of buying one but I got to many things already so I have to sell my mpc 500 first because it is a horrible piece of hostill technologie , there is no way I can learn to use a mpc on this thing !
when I will have more cash I will get a crazy skittles maschine from native for shure !

Yeah I find it hard to justify a mpc in 2012. I bought a 2000 in 2009 and while I loved it I should have bought Maschine then. I am thinking about buying a Mikro Mark 1 while they are still around. I don't need the full on maschine controller but having a set of pads and a nice drum library to go with it is appealing to me.
