I'm looking for a good RPG8 tutorial for hip hop mellody type of use ?
hello a few month ago I have seen a tutorial on you tube that explain how to make them todays hip hop mellody using RPG8 anybody got that link ?
I have search all day on youtube but I find nothing in need !

Are you talking about autotune? You can use Neptune to get that T-Pain sound.

No I mean when you run a lead mellody into a RPG8 to make some kind of matrix step playing thing but ther is a special thing 4 it it's like you play some notes on the lead track and some other notes on the RPG8! you got some in most tracks of hip hop these days it's like that whistle tweet lead but more complex and mellodious kind if you anderstand what I mean ?

yhea it's the type of sound they use on the back ground here

it play 3 times the same note and then go up one note , I looked for this type of stuff on you tube but more complex and fast like here I dont know if it's a saw violon that play in reapet first and then change notes i look for a tutorial that reproduce those type so I can make some myself but my way!

the first one sounds like a square or maybe a sine or a combination of the two and you could use a matrix to trigger the notes.

yhea but the first one I did the almost same with one note and rpg8 but it's a bad exemple what I whant to do is more like a basic arp fx going up and down with various variations but it's crazy every rap crap on the radio play it and I cannot find an exemple it's crazy I should lissen to pop sometime it could help righ now lol !
