GUI Glow

The more I use external controllers the more I think this would be useful.
On occasion I twiddle a knob and I don't immediately realise which part of the device it's effecting.
It would be helpful if my eye was drawn to the right knob, button or slider when I change the value with my controller.
It's not a critical feature by a long shot but I do think it would be cool if the effected part glowed or got a coloured outline when changes happen.

That's a very cool idea!

Probably not something high on the list and maybe not easy to implement graphically, but I'm all for a little radioactive glow.

Awesome idea! That would be very helpful.

yes. this is something I've been thinking about for a while.

additionally I would like knobs, sliders, etc. to move in real-time when being modulated by an LFO or envelope. I know that Reason employs a strict skeuomorphic design philosophy so it has been lagging behind in terms of visual feedback to users, but it can at least add this feature. it already exists when using the combinator, but it would be nice to have it embedded wholesale into the program.

I think there's reasons why that idea wouldn't work. Some LFO's work relatively to all the crap going on. You can get it to happen inside a combinator if you like.
