Spectrum analyzer
I like the way propellerhead created the guitar tuner to pop up over any screen you are on.
It would be nice if propellerhead or some one would create a spectrum analyzer, That could function in Such a way.
Propellerhead HELP, I NEED THIS.... WE ALL NEED THIS!!!!! Thank U.

We'll get it with Reason 7 or with new RE SDK, hopefully!

Those Combinator patches suck. The graph does not show Hz, or a traditional meter readout.. Honestly, I hope Propellerhead hears our cries and understands that those Conbinator patches are only temporary. We need single devices for Spectrum Analyzing, Deessing, Mulitcompressing, etc. User-friendly devices with clear graphs and dials like every other DAW has! I've bee a faithful Reason user for years now but am getting a little discouraged by the lack of keeping up with demand. Often times I wonder if they even look at these forums. I am hopeful though that R7 will deliver. Just wish we had some clue as to when it will be released... For now we are completely in the dark.

They don't suck and they do show frequencies.. I'm just happy someone took the time out to try and help out all of us miserable people.. We do need a better solution tho...

That's good if they work for you. They do not work for me. And the multiband compressor combinators are a mess of stereo imagers and compressors. Not user friendly at all. The Spectrum Analyzer combinator is not very helpful in my opinion. I do respect and appreciate the fact that they were made to hold us up in the meantime but let's all hope and pray the Props make dedicated devices for these things!

A spectrum analyzer is god request i personaly feel like a person ears is the best tool.

LastAlternative 2012-10-22 05:05

I have explained this. Yes use your ears. But not everyone has a sub or can monitor the very low end. Some people want a visual assistance as well.

Subs are very cheap and honestly i never mix with a sub on ever but thats just me.

Me neither. So.. what's your point? You don't want or need a spectrum analyzer. Well guess what. MANY people do!
