BEST controller keyboard for Reason 6.5

Hey.
I am looking in to getting a new budget controller keyboard as I am tired of my Oxegen 8. It is between an M-audio Axion 25 and AKAI MPK25. Any thoughts or recommendations on this?
Thanks

Saw that mentioned. Thanks, BUT I wouldn't say £350 is 'budget'. :P

Save a little more, sell oxgen and get the Best you will be happy you did.

I was looking about in the same price range. Ive used the axiom the akai and various novation kit. Im saving up for the panorama. Im tired pf playing the almost but not quite game with controllers.

I have a axiom 49. How much you looking to spend.

Just putting "BEST" in the thread title might make people miss the "budget" part of your request, but if you're willing to save a bit and put the money into it, I think the Nektar controller is in most ways the best choice available.

I actually have an Oxygen 8 right now too, but I'm still waiting to replace it with Nektar's 61 key Panorama P6 when it's released because I honestly don't think that replacing it with something like what you mentioned would give me too much more than what I've got. Unless the one you have isn't working right anymore, I'd guess the same would be true for you.

If you want to stick to budget stuff and you're interested in getting something more than what you have, I'd look around a bit for used equipment since there are hundreds, probably thousands of different keyboards from keys-only to full hardware synthesizers around, and you might find a great deal!

Or if the keys you have are okay and you just want more/better/newer controls, you might also consider one of the keyless controllers.

What don't you like about the Oxygen 8 and what do you think the others will give you that you don't already have? It seems you have looked into the two just need to be persuaded. What part of the controller do you need to be persuaded over?

Im with u, Oxygen rocks and I dont think the ones you looking into are that different but having pads or sliders... I would look into pad controller with sliders such as MPD26 that works as a charm with Reason and it is a specific pad trigger to work with your Oxygen.

For me both works fantastic, oxygen and mpd26 made such a nice couple!

Panorame P4 absolutely the best buy for reason, its integration is unpresidented.
