CV spectral analyzer
 
A device that meters CV signal level and, when unfolded, presents a real-time graph of the CV signal in a window. The width of the window is tempo-synced, with resolutions selectable from 1/64 to 4 bars (4/4). The vertical axis can be switched from bipolar (-1.0 to +1.0) to unipolar (0.0 to +1.0), and has zoom levels 0.25x, 0.5x, 1x (default), 2x.

It's great to see all the various REs that process and measure CV (ReVolt, et al), and there's a workaround for graphing CV signals (see for example http://www.kallenemvalts.com/audio/cv1) but it would be fabuolous to have a tool that displayed CV waveforms in real time. Anyone want to build this?

That's an oscilloscope, not a spectral analyzer, and it's not currently possible to build such a thing for Reason.

While it is missing the additional options you request, basic real-time visual analysis of CV signals (oscilloscopy, as JiggeryPokery mentioned) is already available in Reason via the pop-up sampling window, and despite its limitations I am sure you will nevertheless find it very useful.

After using Thor for CV-to-audio conversion as in your tutorial, route the output to the sampling input on the back of the hardware interface rather than to a mix channel -although you could certainly do both if you wished- and when you begin sampling you will be able to watch your signal being graphed in real time with up to thirty seconds of history. Note, though, that unipolar signals will occupy only the upper portion of the window unless converted to be bipolar.
