The Journey - Miguel Catalão

Hi Folks!

Now for some blatant self (and not so self) promotion... :)

Just did a new demo track for Jiggery Pokery's Retrospective Refill.

You can check the demo here:

Loading SoundCloud…

Nicely done Miguel! Are all of those sounds from the Refill?

mcatalao 2012-11-28 17:46

Thank's mastertonyd.
Glad you liked it.

Yes, except for the drums which are from the reason base refills.

BTW, i did this demo for Nucleus Soundlab, since they are also reselling the refill, so this MIGHT not show up on Jiggery Pokery's site, but it will on Nucleus Soundlab.

As for the refill it's packed with lot's of sounds from synths from the eighties and nineties! The list is so extensive... Just head over nucleus soundlab's site and check for yourself!

It also has a lot of combinators, but the nn-xt's have true gems in there!

If you buy the refill from Nucleus Soundlab it will add points for other products, and i think they are still on sale Until December 1st...

So, here goes for unselfish blatant promotion!!!! :)

PS.: Check David VillaLobos song also. That an amasing tune!!!

Wow.
The wind instrument was particularly rich.
Definitely want one, now.

Thanks!

What was the sound for the flute/reed, by the way?

mcatalao 2012-11-29 15:16

Hi sagana33.

Glad you liked it.

There are 2 flutes in the song. The one in the main theme is a Sakuhachi from the Emulator.

The other patch i don't remember... sorry!

Cheers!
