Possible Saturation Knob bug

I noticed that the Saturation Knob update on my system
has an issue where the SATURATION TYPE control is stuck in it's preset position.

I thought it was because I didn't have the 6.5.2 maintennance update.

After updating Reason the bug is still present

heres my system:

Processor 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5

I have a masterpiece made to demonstrate this Type Malfunction

the song "I Can't Type No-Mo" file is too ginormous to upload as attachment here after optimized and zipped...
pardon my french but is there another way to post reason files easily on the forums? I know it's possible but the attachment limit im finding is only 97.7 kilobytes.

That seems low on bytes but this track uses a masterful Knob automation

thought I'd post this to see if anyone else have had any RE issues like this...hopefully it's an anomaly..

either way The learning curve of this Knob is epic....anyone know how to get that infamous Squarsh Brutal tone? There my fave

( jokes aside the knob still is troubled)

So heres an update about this "BUG"

When in Reason Preferences:

I adjusted the Knob sensitivity to very precise....

For a week this setting didn't let me change the saturation type unless via automation.

I just remembered i had changed the knob setting in my preferences so I tried all knob sensitivity settings to see if it what the threshold was...

after toying with the settings The knob now seems to work again at ALL different knob settings...

Any ideas from anyone about what had caused the issue to arise in the first place? because it seems to have corrected itself
