official threads top the list in searches
 
when i search for kong or Kong in this forum i want the official kong thread to appear at the top of the search returns

similar to the way google searches have sponsored returns at the top

I don’t. Have you ever used the Advanced Search and with the asterisk “*” with three letter words (VST* aargh! , CPU*, etc) to make a wildcard to search? Or with the “+” sign if you’re looking for thread titles with “Official+Kong”? It all works great, as good as any search engine.

But cyclic - There are no official “OFFICIAL …” threads here in the forums. In order to happen what you want to happen, you would need to create an official “OFFICIAL …” thread for every possible subject of discussion!

it would make sense for them to have one for each reason object / feature ..

when someone searches it would not be difficult to list that first.

the people trying to keep track of feature requests have enough to do than to track down new threads
