Need help for a dubstep effect

Sorry guys I'm on my phone at the moment but I'm desperately trying to get the same dub effect as in this song but I don't know how
The song is foxes-youth (adventure club remix)
How do you get that dip then spike effects at the drop?
I imagine its got something to do with pitch bending?

Are they pitch bending the same synth as the dubstep bass in the drop? Or is it a separate synth?

This might help people give you an answer:

Yeah thats the song, sorry I couldn't post it on my phone. I want to get that drop then coming back up effect right at the start of the drop.

yeah, just do what I do

A.B.A.C.A.B.B.

create a bass sound, and either use portamento to slide between notes or just create a pitch wheel with about 5 steps. I won't tell you how to get the exact sound, but having a concept of it can have you figure out how to tweak your own. Use thor and route some options.

Cheers, that pitch bending sound which then rises into the dubstep bass, are they two different tracks? Or is it just the dubstep bass pitch bent?
