Steve Winwood sax-synth

Anybody have a good patch or knows how to replicate the Steve Winwood signature sax-synth sound? I'm pretty sure its on a Multimoog...It can be found in the beginning of "The Finer Things" and "While You See A Chance" as well as the solo in "Valerie."

Does anybody know how to recreate it on Thor, Malstrom or Subtractor?

Been messing around and can't seem to get it right

Thanks

Edited: Multimoog, not DX7

Oh, Steve. How did you go from Blind Faith to this? Like I'm one to talk - I never did Blind Faith to begin with.

Anyway... Like a great many synth sounds, this is a sawtooth wave into a low pass filter with a little modulation. The basic sound is easy to get using thor (https://dl.dropbox.com/u/3134085/Synth%20Sax.thor). Fine tune to taste. I used thor because it's the easiest to program but you might get better results with subtractor. Hope this helps.
