Not Sure How to Get This Sound

Any ideas?

Sounds like a brass patch with portamento/glide
It sounds pretty "digital" to me (like what a PX7 brass might be) but, I suppose it could also be a sampled&looped type of patch too.

On my phone, sorry if I'm no help :p

Yeah, it's not that. I think it comes from a polymoog but I'm not sure.

here is a Thor patch. It is nothing like it (not even close!) it just explains what im trying to say, better than i can say it. ;) It has glide and x3 osc differently tuned, to make a chord, essentially.

I didn't bother trying to get the sound/timbre/essence correct, i just wanted to show you the portamento and 1 finger chord setting that it sounds (to me) like he is using. We never know, he could have recorded one monophonic line and, went back on it 2 times at different notes! :)
hope that helps get you closer and, clears up what i was trying to say before.

Thanks. It wouldn't surprise me if it was a monosynth (pro-soloist, to be exact). The timbre doesn't sound like a pro-soloist but the glide does.

Quite possible. Song sounds like it was something in the late 70s or early 80s so they might only had some monophonic synths and had to resort to overdubbing harmonies.

Could have also maybe used a multi oscillator synth tuned to harmonize but might have been tricky due to fixed intervals.
