Casio Privia keyboard issues
I have a Casio Privia keyboard that I originally planned to use as a midi controller for my Reason 5.
Unfortunately, due to the slow latency response time and all the trouble I had to get it fixed (somewhat, by reducing buffer size), I got a M-Audio FastTrack plug in for the sound and bought a 1/4 to 1/8 jack to plug my keyboard directly into the M-Audio FastTrack, which is then connected to my computer (Reason).
Problem now is, I can hear the keyboard sounds from my computer monitors, but for some reason (no pun intended) Reason 5 won't register it into the program.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? (I already verified the keyboard into the midi controller list when I was receiving all the latency issues but dont need it as a midi controller anymore...just want to plug it in, and began recording the regular piano sounds from my keyboard so that latency will not be an issue.)
Reason 5 doesn't record audio, unless you are talking about sampling the casio into NNXT or NN19?
