Seperate the kick and the Sub...sounds like theyre both masking eachother. Use a highpass on the kick at about 80-100 it will clean up the muddiness a bit. Other then that sounds good.

Thanks! I could hear that muddiness on the low end, but had no idea how to get rid of it. Thanks KingNate88

Sounds good. I would turn up the low horns a little or give them some more high end. Would sound good with some vocals over it!

It sounds good on my laptop.
Ill give it another listen when I get back to the studio.

Maybe compress the peaks of those claps a bit? That might allow you to bring up the whole track level without clipping. And are you using high pass filter on SSL on every track? Start at about 80 hz for kick and 30 hz for sub. Everything else at 150 hz. This is just to start, of course, YMMV. You will want to tweak from there within the context of the mix.

And if you don't want vocals, I think it'd be fine...just add more changes and a solo. Build up to a climax to keep the listener's attention. Try muting out a track for a bar or two to add a different feel. Silence is a great addition to a song!

@ rvolt
cool, let me know! whatever happened to that PaperChaser remaster you done. I really wanted to check it out. I like the stutter effect you added to the 1st take.
