Rack Extensions Favourites

Maybe there is another forum to discuss your favourite rack extensions, if not, please feel free to discuss the ones you have, are they any good and do you recommend, and any tips to get the best use out of them.

With so many, it could be a difficult decision which one to purchase, so please let us know the ones you are having fun with using and why.

For me personally, the instrument ones are a bit pricey, and knowing my luck they might be included in reason 7 if I buy them.

P.S. Please let us know of any promotional codes you come across.

Only one way I see this happening..is if they add $99 for each instruments, which will make R7 cost $800 or $900! (depending on the instruments they integrate with R7) other than that,it's not going to happen !

See I removed your "Reason" not to buy an instrument RE.

Tee hee, I love the New Year shows that review the year but really your post asks for quite a synopsis - almost the moon on a stick. Basically I think the last 6 months of REs can be summarised by:

WOW! Fuck me! Great! Amazing! Aww expensive; So innovative! Great Emulation! Aww poor implementation; Gut Godt! Pug Ugly! Intro price! VST Port! Great User Interaction! CV! CV! and more CV!

Hope that grips ya the way it has me for the last 6 months :)

I have a few and my favourite is ... nahh pointless.

(Antidote) ;)

RE's are just like VSTI's, except only for Reason... and they aren't really all that expensive, i've still got about 10k debt related to my old hardware setup so Reason and RE's are a friggin god send! :)
