PSP Vintage Warmer RE
This would be awesome :)

Anyone else in?

At first I thought you meant Sony PSP. Then I googled...
So how would this differ from all the RE-2A, FET, etc. that we already have?

Well this is not a "normal"compressor per se. At most it's a simple multiband compressor with some great options. It's probably my favorite allround plugin. I just love the sound it gives. Use it for mastering as well.

It would be lovely to have it in Reason, but the right people to ask are PSP themselves. If you haven't written to them yet:

First computer-based compressor I heard that could compete with hardware ones, to my ears at least. There have been others since, but this one holds a special place in my heart. Not sure how much I'd be prepared to pay for it as an RE, $50 maybe?

I used to use it as a "Master Bus" compressor when externally mixing down tracks I'd made in Reason.

This is probably the most famous original software compressor. A true classic with a unique sound. Would love to see this in the rack.

With all the other REs for mastering/compressing the price tag would be more in the $75-$100 range.

I still use it for mastering! I did this track ALL inside reason and mastered on wavelab (vintage warmer included) :

PSP stuff is really great: there's a lot of things of theirs would be really nice to see in RE. VintageWarmer is superb, and their Lexicon delay modellers are excellent.

Just contacted psp and they responded the following:

"Thanks for your interest.
We haven't started working on porting our plug-ins to RE format."

A bit cryptic but that was the answer ^_^
