should i buy reason ?

i just don't know if should buy reason, i have used it back when it was 3.5, but moved to ableton live,
if i could find plenty of videos or demos for house music i might be convinced, i really need
something that has plenty of great sounds i ca actually use, rather than thousands of patches i wouldn't even try to tweek, i like the idea of refills so i could increase my library, but i still unsure

this is the sound i am looking for,

Why I like reason + example track

The link below is a preview track from a guy I know, he produces dark electro-house style music and makes some crazy stuff. In fact its what got me realising how professional the sound of reason really is and all the possibilities you can do with it.

When i first bought reason, I wasn't so convinced, I didn't like the presets and I had a lot to learn before I could get my hands dirty and start making my own sounds, but this guy convinced me that there's so much you can do with reason if you experiment with it...

Check it out, and obviously the lesson here is that the beauty of reason is making your own sounds... so don't rely too much on refills dude. :]

I've never used version 3.5(as I began with 4),so I don't know the contrasts between the two....but now using 6.5,I can tell you that A LOT has changed and for the better.

If you're not into tweaking(or you don't think that Reason presets are worth tweaking)...you have no idea what you're missing.
In addition to the new factory presets,there are plenty of commercial refills that utilize the absolute best,that Reason's synth engines have to offer(not to mention all of the new RE synths that are available).

Refills like Fairlight Platinum,will definitely convince you to get version 6.5(in my opinion)...here's the YouTube vid; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyGFbtPK7Dc

Hell...even some of the FREE Refills are amazing,such as the Exode Massive Synth Refill.

This tune below isn't house music(ambient rather),but there some Fairlight Platinum sounds in it;
