What was your first music-making software?

Obviously we're all Reason users or we wouldn't be here... but what started you on your journey? What was the first sequencer or any other software that you used on a computer, to make music?

I'm not talking about synths, hardware sequencers, splicing tape, etc. Talking strictly about music-making software running on a "personal computer".

Here's a picture from my (almost) first...

I say almost because this is an image from "Super" Studio Session, I started with its precursor, Studio Session, but couldn't find a picture of that.

What about you?

Fruity Loops. Either 4 or 5.

All I had were guitars and eventually a tascam 424 mkIII until learning SAWstudio and Cool Edit Pro at broadcast school (03/04?)
Saw holds the title for ugliest interface in my opinion :) Still use Cool Edit, it's just called Audition now.

Ok wait, I take that back, the first software I use to make music was Garage Band. On the older mac computers that you can get with the different colors.

Those would be the original iMacs. :) I think they were sometimes referred to as the "Gumdrop Macs"

Some cheap early 90's Cubase knock-off, I can't even remember the name of it.

The first music software I actually used extensively was ModPlug Tracker.

Band-in-a-box, then the original Logic (before Apple took it over).

Pinnacle Project Studio by Turtle Beach in 1998. It was a darn good product that lasted from around 1997 to being discontinued1999. Turtle Beach found that they made more money making small speaker sets and video games. Then came Reason 1.1 -
