POD HD Pro issues
So I'm trying to use my POD as my USB interface for tracking guitars and monitoring and I'm getting some clicks and pops. I'm usually familiar with buffer settings but for some reason I can't figure out how to get them to stop.
I've tried making the buffers as large and forgiving as possible, still no avail. It seems to happen when I use hi gain patches, but nothing is clipping. It kinda sounds like digital clipping though, and only in my left monitor. When I close reason and release the POD, no more clicks and pops. Its the POD HD USB driver's interaction with reason.
Anyone have ideas? see attached images for my typical settings.
Hi there. I think there are a few things going on here. You could probably lower your sample buffer size a great deal and increase your direct monitoring buffer. I would try 256 on the sample buffer and put your direct monitor about halfway. You shouldn't notice any latency assuming you have decent specs on the PC you are using.
