Eric Clapton says that he was heavily influenced by Dada deconstructive methodology in the first few months of composing for Cream, so go for it. I've been using Glitch a lot recently, but in a more subtle way to spice up drums and grooves.

Yeah I often use it that way as well. It's a great way of constructing fills within fairly basic drum loops.
