Relative Friction (chillstep)

Hi,

I made this track specifically for a video production, so it has an unusual structure to it in order to fit with the video. Enjoy!

You know music theory! That's really neat.

This is my newest song, mine is for my band Rankine Star.

Your track sounds really nice and clear. The pumping of the Kick & Snare seemed a bit much at first, but then I waited it out and it worked well. Like.

Yeah lots of sidechaining going on. I tried it with less but it just didn't have the same impact. Thanks for listening.

A lovely warm Mix & some really tastie little riffs , i love that Middle section' & that ever so slight vocal sample 1.27 ;) Good stuff & good luck with the video it comes out with .

Would it be possible to look at a RNS file of yours? I love how clean the mix is - would love to see how you wire things and such. Is this a possibility?

Thanks - unfortunately I can't but I've sent you a PM :) Might be things from the track that I can send instead, like a instrument patch or screenshots.

I like it, the sound is great - yep you're right the sidechaining adds to the impact.....although I've not seen the video, I can imagine. Diggin the transitional sounds.

Interesting track, that pumping works well here. I really wanted it to carry on as it faded out.
