New Electro House / Complextro Track

He guys,

I spent quite some time on this, arranging the parts and automating a lot of stuff. Aiming for a professional sound...

What do you think?

i thought it was good. Not my bag but lots of twists and turns. The only thought I had was that the sounds of the mid-range bass synths sounded like they could have been 'sharper'. They felt a touch muddy in the mid to low ranges and lacking some top end. Not much mind, but when you've got a bunch of stuff going on I would have thought you'd need to be extra careful with that mid-low range. The track seemed really well put together though and lots of interesting things going on in it. Nice work.

The song is alright.

If you want a better song, you need to pick 4 notes and build new patterns. The music lacks organized patterns.

Try beginning a mode, by removing all the conflicting notes. You start listening and then a 6th or a 3rd 7th knocks your ear down like Michael Jordan on a fat kid.

Keep all the great sounds, but restructure the music. If you want that "true" pop dance song, remove one note out of a 16 note redrum kid.

Radio stations are all named something different, but in Tulsa, OK (106.9 K-Hits) is a corporate party music station. EVERY song of ALL POP HITS is a short tempo timing to give you that "instant" need sensation in your songs.

Thanks!

I received a similar comment on a different forum so I guess you're on to something. I'll try some EQ-ing to get a little more of a gnarly midrange sound...

Also I started experimenting with FM synthesis, I'm learning about the harsh sounds you can get from those.
