Do you use the blocks feature in Reason?

Do you use the blocks feature in Reason? Do you find it quite helpful? What genres do you produce in that incorporate the blocks feature?

I've never used it before so I can't say how useful it is. I'm wondering now, though, that I'm trying to be more serious about my music that I should look into it. I produce house and trance and wondering for those genres if blocks would be quite useful. I would lean towards yes.

Nope, never used it, but im really thinking i should maybe learn how it works in case it would be useful :P

Since they released the feature, I think every beat/song I've done has Blocks in it. :)
I find them very useful.

5. Only as a means to arrange the song visually.

we had that a while ago...

Took me a year after it was released to try it out. Used it on every track since then. For the basic stuff and raw buildup. Then i paint all kinds of variations and 95% of the autmation clips over it in song mode.

How about just no as a poll choice instead of editorializing the responses.

Agree. I actually know what blocks are, but I don't use them anyway. So, no contribution to this poll from my side ;) .

I cannot work without blocks.
