Upgrade PX7 to PS1R?

I know you won't do this but I'll ask anyway: would you please upgrade PX7 to PS1R? While the DX series synths were really something at the time, they didn't do anything that other synths, like the FS1R, don't do better. And while the PX interface is better than the DX's, what interface isn't? Well, maybe the FS1R but nobody ever used it anyway, they used third party freeware instead. And you have good interfaces, in general (not PX7 - I can only assume you intended it to be primarily a preset player, not a programmable synthesizer), I'm sure you could come up with a pleasing GUI, if you tried. As a bonus, the synth would double as a poor man's B3 emulation, to go with Rotor. So even though I know you won't do this, I'm asking you to.

Thanks,
colcifer

The FS1R is really just an DX7II with 8 operators and formant filters. Plug it in to Thor and you've got a huge chunk of the sound.
The DX7II added multiple waves to the Ops (as opposed to just sine), the SY77 added samples for Ops and filters, and the SY99 added user sample memory.
I've mentioned this before, but I'd rather have an FM synth with Thor and Kong modules as operators than just a stock DX7. REX looped FM makes me drool.

Part of the point I was trying to make is that a straight DX7 emulation isn't so exciting. Anyway, "just" a DX7II with 8 operators and formant filters? I don't think a DX7II with 8 operators and formant filters is "just" anything other than ****ing awesome! ;) Thor doesn't do much formant synthesis, anyway.

I'd like to be able to use other waves and custom routing - these are my only feature requests for the PX7.
Other than that it's perfect and my favourite synth!
