rex upgrade needs the ability to generate harmony notes

if future patches were able to know the midi note key value of a slice then we could use something like cv tuner to generate accompanyment

I dont think this is even possible.

I'm trying to figure it out in my head but, I dont believe it would work.

How would you implement this? How would it work?

refills made and audited by professional music companies

if the notes are properly assigned as a midi file in the next generation of rex player this option would be simple

Would it?

Cv tuner outputs CV, not midi notes. I thought it takes CV going IN and, outputs CV.
That's seems backwards to me....how would it actually work? Would you need an update to both DrOctoRex and CV Tuner?

Props rarely updated their native devices and, the Rex just recently had one! (It was the first (only?) to break the mold and get a real overhaul IIRC) So, IMO we are more likely to see updates to other devices first.

Do actually you mean this as a Recycle feature request?
So that, when you are making Rex files, you can assign notes to slices? Because I can almost imagine that! :)
I think we would see that first. What I mean is, before that kind of feature is available in the Rex player, i think it would be in the Rex "maker" (recycle)

Still, I'm no software engineer....it may be too difficult or just impossible, for all I know.
