Need I say more?

Thanks.

You can use Drum Computer step sequencer for kong.

kylelee 2013-06-14 00:05

redrum cv gate outs to matching kong cv gate ins
matrix cv outs (gate or note) to kong
thor step sequencer cv out to kong
lfos of various devices (malstrom comes to mind) cv out to kong

you have so many choices, but I do understand your want for convenience.
I would like a device with multiple step sequencer lanes showing that could be cv connects to devices like redrum and kong.
like iDrum or FL Studio

redrum is good but being able to see all the parts at once would be great

Why not simply zoom in to a sequencer drum track, set alignment to 1/32 or anything to your liking and work just like you'd do in FL or with a step sequencer?

that's how I usually did, but it would be even better if it would behave like a step sequencer, so you don't need tools do draw or erase. Just one click. Also the velocity setting of redrum is quite handy. Everything is doable without a step sequencer, but it is just so much fun to get those drum patterns in even less time!

and how to realize it: "notes to track?"

Select Kong Track in sequencer, Right click on Redrum Computer in rack view and click "copy notes to track".

The velocity settings on Redrum can be imitate in Kong nn-nano - the "level" knob on the velocity panel does the same thing.

What Reason really needs is a proper steptime input function in the main sequencer.
