Props Forum App

Love the Propellerhead site and forum. Would be cool to have access to an App or mobile version of the forums when checking in on the go. Just a thought.

I posted a similar request a couple of days ago so this request gets a +1 from me. :-)

The app you're looking for is called a "browser".

Have you tried viewing this forum (or any forum without a mobile page) on an iPhone?

Yes and that works fine?

I really don't see the point of forum apps.

Guess I didn't go far enough back. Cheers! :)

Fair enough. Native apps load quicker than Desktop sites on my mobile browser though, I find apps are more convenient.

It works, I wouldn't say fine. But it works.

Forum app / social media app. Depends on which conversations / updates you feel like dropping in on.

Even a mobile site would make the experience easier on the fly.

I don't see a point to forum apps, either (and I hate being asked if I want to download one every time I look at anything), but mobile versions are a marked improvement for phones. This site on an iPhone consists of zooming every new page and scrolling from one side to another for each line of text, which is beyond annoying.

No, I don't let any Apple or Sony products into my home. But the forum works quite well on a Nexus 7 with (mobile) Firefox.

That's a tablet, not a smartphone. The experience is completely different.

You know you can hold your iPhone in landscape position?

Typing is more of a problem, and that can't be fixed...
