Are they ready for this?

New International Reader's Version

Psalm 94:9

9 Does he who made the ear not hear?
Does he who formed the eye not see?

"Does He who made the eye not see, and does He who made the ear not hear?"

In 1999, I went to a bible study one night. A man and woman were hosting the group. Once everybody was settled in their seats, the woman began to minister. Immediately she told us that she was going to prophesy in the name of God the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, and that she would prophesy to whoever the Holy Spirit guides her to. I was sitting way in the back of the room and she had crossed the room and stopped in front of me and began to prophesy. She was speaking through the Holy Spirit. Her message was this:

"God has a lot more for you. God has watched you since you were small. Without Him, you would be out of here. I see you looking at album covers and thinking, "How can I do that?" God is going to bless you with a band. Jump music is your calling. Not everyone is going to like it. In one of your songs you will be crying because God will anoint you. You have the spiritual gifts of a prophet, priest, teacher, minister, and evangelist. You are a man of peace. The word for you is fire."

That is a real prophecy of the Holy Spirit. It is a spiritual prophecy concerning spiritual matters.

Ya'll should read my book. For people to like and appreciate my music is too much to hope for.

I like the part about, "looking at album covers and thinking 'How can I do that?'" I had this revelation before laptops and software programs like Reason.

Also, I have to wonder, "what is A LOT from GOD's point of view."

Hey, GOD is good.

I want to check out your music!

For the moment I'll just assume that you are unaware of the general community guidelines that almost all of us try to follow which suggest keeping religion and politics out of here so we can get along better and stay somewhat on topic...unless it's a song (which should be in the Music forum), please don't make posts like this?

I don't like making people dislike me, but if I run into more stuff like this I will make fun of it mercilessly in the future... ;)

Stop posting religous themes! I will listen to your music but no need for god here.

is this heading into "you all are going to hell unless you take him as your savior" territory? I always get hung up on the billions of pious and kind hearted humans who don't follow that particular dogma, will certainly be going south of heaven....

In due time my friend. I'm working on a college degree right now so the music is taking a backseat, and musically I started out from nothing but I keep at it as much as I can...I've grown interested in what musicians with more advanced skills could do with some of my ideas. It would also expedite producing a finished product, which would be nice. Patience is indeed a virtue though, as my skills grow and ideas brew slowly.

For the record, I do love GOD and give HIM credit for many things, but I don't think I fit any of the prefabricated mental images of people into any religions. I did get baptized for the first time on Easter Sunday, 2011, something I had wanted to do since I was "saved" in 1997.
Yeah, talking about GOD can be opening the proverbial can of worms, but my intention is not to talk about GOD here. A message was given to me, and now I have a message to share. It's just one of those things, "if you get it, you get it, and if not, I'm not worried about it."
Anyway, I won't dwell on it either, I'm basically here to 'kick it' about music, and skills.
