Zooplankton and Phytoplankton [Mega track bonanza]

Hi guys,

Another two tracks from the shelved EP material. Both of these are sun from the same basic melody and beats but I've tried to take them in vastly different directions.

Let me know what you think in the comments :)

Both great tracks, although I find Zooplankton more appealing to my taste.
I dig those Monk-like chants reminiscent of Enigma. Of course your drum work never ceases to amaze dude. SO far so good on the EP. :)

Cheers Ed. The new batch is starting to sound pretty healthy now. Still got a reasonable amount of arrangement and mix work to do but the basic structure of everything is finished anyway. Should be ready within the month hopefully :D

Cool man! it's refreshing to hear you referring to your tracks as batches. I really get the feeling you're growing these damn tracks right on your back yard. Next batch better be potent just like the last ones or more. :D

The truth is that I harvest them from cups of tea that have been left on the surface slightly too long. That's the best way to give your tracks a real sense of personality.

Cool tip man! I might just start my own home-brewing-and-growing.

I also find that FET compression and parallel processing add quite a lot. Just re-uploaded these two and megaplankton on my sc with a touch of extra flavour.
