ssl mono check button

the ssl needs a mono check button...have it near the master fader please :)

good idea
meanwhile you can put a stereo imager in a combinator between the master device and the hardware interface and program a button of the combinator to toggle bypass/on. to make it more convenient you can right click and select a button from a controller, or a key from your qwerty keyboard, to toggle mono/stereo.
Put this in your template to have it ready every time you make a song.

PLEASE, only on the control room out (if it MUST be) - no console has a mono button on the main outs… ;-)

The place for a mono button is the same place as for the control room volume, source select and speaker select — not on the output. :-)

A much needed feature indeed. Combis are cool and all but..

yes..that's essentially where I meant, to the right of the master fader near the control room output potentiometer :)

Maybe we're saying the same thing, but to be clear...

I'm talking about where the function is located in the signal flow, not where the button is on the GUI! ;-)

Just keep it out of the main signal path, that's all I'm saying. :-)
