does anyone have this REDRUM link?

a few months ago someone posted a link on this board which showed how to work on REDRUM using all the different tempos and time signatures..does anyone have this link they could share again? it was a link to his/her actual reason files...

formulas...

no.. i haven't seen this.. but i don't see what would warrent a post..

3/4 = 12 steps on the redrum

7/8 = 14 steps on the redrum...

etc.

here's some forumulas...

variable example: 2/4 -- top=2 bottom=4, for 1 bar duration, 16 steps

top(16/bottom) = appropriate # of steps in redrum at normal resolution
- Example: 2(16/4) = 8 steps
2top(16/bottom) = appropriate # of steps at 2x resolution
- Example: 2*2(16/4) = 16 steps
.5top(16/bottom) = appropriate # of steps at 1/2 resolution
- Example: .5*2(16/4) = 4 steps

Those formulas give you the proper number of steps and make the resolution knob actually give you increased resolution while having the pattern repeat at the same frequency.
